Chris Diamantopoulos (born May 9, 1975) is a Canadian actor and comedian.

Personal life

Diamantopoulos was born in Toronto, Canada and attended East York Collegiate Institute. He is of Greek descent and a member of the Greek Orthodox religion.[1][2] Diamantopoulos met his wife, actress Becki Newton, in a subway station in New York. The couple married on May 12, 2005. Becki gave birth to their first child, a boy, in November 2010.[3]

Career

He portrayed Robin Williams in Behind the Camera: The Unauthorized Story of 'Mork & Mindy', a television movie about the behind-the-scenes drama during the making of Mork and Mindy. He has guest-starred in several series, including Kevin Hill, Charmed, The Sopranos, Nip/Tuck, and Boston Legal and had a supporting role as a gay interior decorator in the USA Network mini-series The Starter Wife.

He had a recurring role on the Lifetime drama series State of Mind. He also guest voiced on American Dad! in 2009.

On the eighth season of the Fox series 24 Diamantopoulos played President Allison Taylor's Chief of Staff Rob Weiss. He played Frank Sinatra in the TV miniseries, The Kennedys. Diamantopoulos will play Moe Howard in the 2012 'The Three Stooges film.
